THERAPY SERVICES
(IMPROVED DAILY LIVING FUNDING)

NDIS Capacity Building: Improved Daily Living funding can be used to access therapeutic support provided by allied health professionals, in line with the NDIS participant's plan goals.

 

Psychologists, Occupational therapists, and Social workers can provide support with:​

  • Understanding and managing emotions

  • Emotional regulation and co-regulation

  • Supporting others to know how to respond to distress/dysregulation

  • Anxiety

  • Self-esteem and resilience

  • Participation at school or workplace

  • Bullying

  • Friendships

  • Home routines and functional daily living skills

  • Sensory Processing

  • Fine motor / upper limb / handwriting expression and assistive technology

  • Community participation

  • Parent support​

  • Brief behaviour support assessment and report

  • School advocacy

  • Training education staff

  • Workplace support

  • Training for support workers

  • Training for community groups

  • Case meetings​
